About the role
The Golf Groundskeeper Level II performs routine manual labor and a variety of tasks involved in golf course maintenance and construction, working under the supervision of the Golf Lead, Assistant Golf Superintendent or Director of Agronomy.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine manual labor for golf course upkeep.
- Carry out a diverse range of maintenance and construction activities.
- Operate small hand‑powered equipment such as trimmers, hand mowers and chain saws.
- Work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Required profile
- High school graduate with a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to regularly lift objects of approximately 50 lb and occasionally up to 100 lb.
- Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions and stand for the entire shift.
- Flexibility to work rotating schedules.
Required skills
- Operation of small hand‑powered equipment (trimmers, hand mowers, chain saws).
- Physical stamina for lifting, standing, walking and working outdoors.
