Dutch-Speaking Customer Support Specialist (Remote, Portugal)

About the role

Kats Recruitment is recruiting Dutch-speaking Customer Support Specialists for a full-time remote position based in mainland Portugal, supporting a leading international brand. You will be the main contact for Dutch-speaking customers in the Netherlands and Belgium, handling inquiries by digital channels, account and order matters, and technical or service issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional and efficient support in Dutch by phone, email and live messaging
• Help customers with account settings, order tracking, product details, billing and returns
• Resolve common issues at first contact and escalate complex technical, payment or operational cases to senior support tiers
• Maintain high standards of service quality, empathy and CSAT
• Log interactions, notes and resolutions in internal CRM systems
• Take part in virtual team huddles, coaching sessions and continuous improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Native or near-native Dutch (C1/C2), written and spoken
• English at B2 level or higher for systems, training and internal collaboration
• Strong communication, active listening and solution-oriented approach
• Self-disciplined, reliable and able to manage time independently; quiet workspace with stable high-speed broadband
• Resides in mainland Portugal or is willing to relocate
• Customer support, contact centre or hospitality experience is an advantage but not required

Required skills

• Navigating multiple digital tools, chat interfaces and CRM databases
• Dutch and English
