Drywall Finisher (Gypsum Board)

About the role

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking a hands‑on Drywall Finisher to join its team on a military installation in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. You will work with both hand and power tools to install and finish gypsum board in commercial and industrial settings while supporting general site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install and finish drywall using hand and power tools.
• Prepare and clean job sites, dig trenches, and brace supports.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and other temporary structures.
• Clear debris and non‑hazardous waste from the work area.
• Operate construction equipment as needed and assist with routine maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures in line with company policies and prevailing‑wage requirements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial drywall finishing experience.
• Optional certifications: CPR/First Aid, forklift or man‑lift, trenching/shoring, fall protection, confined‑space, lockout/tagout, scissor‑lift or boom‑lift, EM‑385 (40 h) or OSHA 10 h.

• Drywall installation and finishing.

• Ability to perform general site tasks such as trenching, bracing, and waste removal.
