Director of Strategy, Pricing & Interchange

About the role

Mastercard’s Global Network Economics & Value Optimization (NEVO) team is seeking a Director of Strategy, Pricing & Interchange to lead the development and execution of pricing and interchange strategies that support profitable market share. The role will work across regions and business units, acting as the primary liaison with regional and services organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement global pricing and interchange strategies aligned with product and market objectives.
• Build new analytical tools and models to inform pricing decisions and benchmark against competitors and alternative payment methods.
• Conduct strategic analysis to evaluate new ideas, benchmark Mastercard products, and guide pricing level decisions.
• Manage and prioritize a portfolio of transformational initiatives from ideation through regional syndication and execution.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to advance projects, communicate progress, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Contribute to the global pricing & interchange roadmap and refine strategies across regions.

Required profile

• Proven experience applying financial and business management principles to strategic initiatives.
• Strong analytical and fact‑based problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive initiatives to completion.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting progress to peers and senior management.
