DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on DevOps Engineer to operate, improve and support the cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms and CI/CD pipelines that power TeamViewer’s SaaS products, especially the Frontline solution.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, build and maintenance of highly available, secure and scalable Azure cloud infrastructure for a global SaaS platform.
• Operate and maintain Kubernetes‑based container platforms, using GitOps workflows for declarative management.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and observability frameworks such as Prometheus, Grafana and Datadog.
• Identify and resolve performance, security and scalability bottlenecks proactively.
• Participate in compensated on‑call rotations to address incidents.
• Leverage AI‑powered tools to improve troubleshooting, documentation and engineering productivity.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Security and Platform teams to deliver reliable, secure and high‑performing SaaS services.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with major cloud providers, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker container management.
• Solid background with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI or GitLab CI/CD.
• Practical experience using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
• Understanding of GitOps principles and source control management (Git).
• Scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security and cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Good understanding of the HTTP protocol and micro‑service architectures.
