DevOps Engineer – Cloud (AWS) – Remote (Portugal)

About the role

Wire IT is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fully remote team in Portugal. You will own the design, implementation and automation of AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security and cost‑efficiency for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provision, configure and secure AWS resources, networks and accounts.
• Implement disaster recovery strategies and cost‑optimization measures.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions, GitLab or Jenkins.
• Deploy and manage containerised workloads with Kubernetes, Docker and Helm charts.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Set up monitoring and observability with Grafana, Kibana, DataDog or CloudWatch.
• Create and manage CDN solutions with CloudFront or Akamai.
• Automate routine tasks with Bash, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and cloud security best practices.
