Development Engineer – Reliability Responsible

About the role

As a Development Engineer – Reliability Responsible you will ensure product quality and reliability from concept through validation, supporting Bosch’s Home Comfort division in Aveiro.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and moderate quality prevention and product improvement sessions such as FMEA, DRBFM and risk assessments.
• Plan, execute and analyse design validation tests, presenting results to development teams.
• Develop new test methods and test rigs for reliability testing.
• Perform technical and safety reviews within product development projects.
• Prepare and lead risk‑management meetings with stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering and reliability processes.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Mechanical, Physics, Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Experience in technical product development and reliability testing (valued).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Results‑oriented, proactive and able to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
