Business Analyst – Manufacturing Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Business Analyst – Manufacturing Engineering to join our Airbus GBS in Lisbon or Coimbra. As a fully proficient professional, you will complete complex tasks with limited supervision, lead project components, and act as an informal resource and mentor for less‑experienced colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Autonomously manage and update KPI dashboards for Manufacturing Engineering, linking with Finance data.
• Own subcontracting management from PO tracking to goods receipt, alerting stakeholders to delivery risks.
• Lead maintenance of workforce dashboards across multiple programmes, ensuring accurate categorisation of internal, external and extended‑make resources.
• Identify complex business risks and opportunities beyond formal data, structuring insights for internal customers.
• Support development of solutions to recurring complex problems and act as a trusted operational interface with international stakeholders.
• Drive local initiatives for the Airbus Portugal team, standardise processes and champion lean and Six Sigma improvements.

Required profile

• Educational background in Business Management, Finance, Engineering or equivalent business‑analysis experience.
• Full professional proficiency gained through extensive work in business analysis, data management or financial control.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and act as an informal resource for junior colleagues.
• Fluent English required; additional French, German or Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced mastery of Google Workspace, including scripting/App Script automation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
