Data Scientist

About the role

InnoTech is looking for a Data Scientist to join its team of 180+ professionals. You will work with client datasets, preparing them for advanced analytics and building predictive models that drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and understand client data to ensure readiness for analytical solutions.
• Prepare, cleanse, validate, and transform data using programming and scripting tools.
• Design, build, and optimise machine‑learning models, including feature engineering and hyper‑parameter tuning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve methodologies, processes and data‑science tooling.

Required profile

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related field.
• Strong knowledge of machine‑learning principles and model evaluation.
• EU work permit or CPLP nationality.

Required skills

• Python, Bash, Java or Scala.
• Big‑Data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
• Performance monitoring and tuning at OS and JVM levels.
• Statistical analysis and data‑visualisation techniques.
• Tree‑based algorithms (Random Forest, XGBoost, LightGBM).
• Familiarity with deep‑learning concepts and frameworks.
