Data Analyst – Power BI & Excel

About the role

Decskill is seeking a Data Analyst to join its growing team of technology professionals. You will work on impactful projects for clients in the securities services domain, using Power BI and advanced Excel techniques to turn data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPIs.
• Perform ad‑hoc data analysis in Excel, using advanced formulas, pivot tables and Power Pivot.
• Ensure data quality and governance by validating sources and troubleshooting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data‑driven recommendations.
• Automate repetitive tasks with Excel VBA or Power BI automation tools.

Required profile

• Good level of English.
• Understanding of the securities services sector (custody, funds administration, etc.).
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Power BI – DAX, Power Query, data modeling, dashboard design.
• Excel – advanced functions (XLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH), pivot tables, Power Pivot.
• Excel VBA for automation.
• ETL processes and data governance concepts.
