IT Support Specialist – Level 1/2 Desktop Support

About the role

Extia is looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support for its offices in Portugal. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing devices, and ensuring smooth operation of corporate IT services on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, thin clients, tablets, iPhones and other corporate devices.
• Deploy, configure, maintain and update Windows, macOS and iOS operating systems across the fleet.
• Install, reinstall and troubleshoot core business applications and Microsoft Office suite.
• Use ServiceNow to log incidents, fulfill service requests, manage assets and monitor SLAs.
• Troubleshoot corporate networking and Wi‑Fi problems, perform patching and root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and produce regular reports and documentation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Desktop Support, End‑User Computing or IT Service Desk environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent English with the ability to work on‑site in a rotating shift schedule.
• Proven ability to manage priorities independently and collaborate with local and global IT teams.
