Frontend Software Engineer – React

About the role

Every SIXT rental starts on the web, and the team builds the funnel that serves millions of customers in over 110 countries. As a Frontend Software Engineer you will turn ambiguous product problems into clear, testable specifications and work with AI‑driven tools to deliver high‑quality features. Key responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous product problems into precise specifications with success criteria and edge cases for AI agents.
• Work with AI tools, create guardrails, and drive agents in small, verifiable steps while correcting drift.
• Own the end‑to‑end delivery of medium‑to‑complex features, from design to production.
• Develop reusable, production‑quality React components and ensure reliable integration with backend services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–6 years of professional frontend engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of React.js, component contracts, state management, and browser rendering behavior.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JSON, modern build tools and Git, with excellent debugging skills.
• Experience setting up agentic workflows, reviewing AI output, and sharing best practices with the team.
• Good problem‑solving, communication, and ownership across execution and delivery.
