Data Analyst Intern

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern to join Hawkroot’s analytics team on a part‑time, fully remote basis. This three‑month internship offers final‑year students or recent graduates the chance to work on live data projects, applying analytical techniques and industry‑standard tools.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, clean and validate datasets to ensure accuracy for analysis.
• Perform data analysis to uncover trends, patterns and business insights.
• Write and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
• Support the development and maintenance of dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.
• Conduct statistical analysis and summarise findings in clear reports.
• Prepare data outputs and documentation to maintain data quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Final‑year student or recent graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Eligible to work in the EU.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar visualisation tools.
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis (beneficial).
