Cybersecurity Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead cross‑functional initiatives across Enterprise Architecture, Security, IT Operations and Development teams. You will drive projects from concept through implementation while ensuring alignment with security standards and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans and coordinate technical resources throughout all phases.
• Manage scope, budget and timeline to guarantee successful delivery.
• Continuously monitor progress, report milestones and deliverables.
• Perform risk management, raise awareness and define mitigation strategies.
• Communicate proactively with all stakeholders to resolve issues and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional cybersecurity engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a project manager.
• Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English (C1) and French (C1).
• Willingness to travel within Portugal and internationally.

Required skills

• Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Network security.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST SP800 series.
• Project management methodologies and tools.
