Cybersecurity Project Manager (Hybrid, Lisbon)

About the role

Hexa Consulting is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead and deliver cybersecurity initiatives for its clients in Lisbon. The role combines strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and hands‑on project execution within a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end cybersecurity projects from scoping to operational hand‑over.
• Define project objectives, timelines, governance models, scope, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate multiple initiatives aligned with the organization’s strategic roadmap.
• Ensure best‑practice execution in planning, budgeting, quality assurance and communication.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams, IT departments, business stakeholders and external vendors.
• Track progress, prepare regular reports for management and steering committees.
• Prepare governance materials, executive presentations and project documentation.
• Monitor budgets, financial performance and resource allocation.
• Lead RFI/RFP processes for security tools, platforms and service providers.
• Support Zero Trust, data protection, messaging security, application security and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing cybersecurity or information‑security projects in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in an international setting.
• Autonomous, proactive and delivery‑oriented mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering or related field.
• Project‑management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
