Cybersecurity Expert – Security Operations & GRC

About the role

Aubay Portugal is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Expert to strengthen our security operations, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) capabilities for major clients in banking, insurance, telecom and energy. You will work on vulnerability management, security ratings and offensive security initiatives, helping customers protect their critical assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security operations and GRC activities across multiple client projects.
• Perform vulnerability scans on internet‑exposed assets and analyse results.
• Manage SaaS security platforms, maintain vendor relationships and ensure accurate cyber‑risk scoring.
• Produce and present detailed vulnerability reports to stakeholders, including CISO boards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security findings into broader risk management processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Security Operations, GRC and Vulnerability Management.
• Strong ability to interpret data, IT systems and cyber‑risk metrics.
• Proven offensive security skills and familiarity with hacking techniques and audit methodologies.
• Excellent communication in English; French is a plus.
• Commitment to integrity, ethics, teamwork and customer focus.
