Cybersecurity Expert

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Expert to join our team in Lisbon. The role focuses on strengthening our security posture through governance, risk management, and incident response while supporting a culture of good security practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Monitor vulnerabilities, data breaches, and suspicious activities across endpoints, email, and access controls.
• Investigate security incidents and lead incident‑response actions.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery, remediation, and business continuity plans.
• Promote security awareness and best practices within project teams.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in governance, compliance, risk, or DLP within cybersecurity projects.
• Fluent English (required).
• Mid‑level professional comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Governance, compliance and risk management.
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Cybersecurity policy design and implementation.
• Vulnerability monitoring and incident investigation.
• Incident response and risk mitigation.
• Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Knowledge of ISO 27000, ISO 31000, ISO 22000 standards.
• Familiarity with NIST, COBIT, NIS2 or similar frameworks.
