Country Manager – Puerto Rico

About the role

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a senior leader to serve as the Country Manager for Puerto Rico. The role is the highest‑level authority and legal representative of the company in the territory, responsible for driving commercial performance, shaping strategy and building long‑term customer partnerships across the Caribbean.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the country’s commercial strategy, including go‑to‑market and channel models, to achieve sustainable growth and margin targets.
• Lead pricing, quotation, RFP and contractual negotiations with hospitals, distributors and reference laboratories.
• Represent Beckman Coulter to external stakeholders, ensuring compliance, governance and corporate reputation.
• Build and develop a high‑performing local team, fostering a culture of belonging and alignment with the Danaher Business System.
• Collaborate with the Latin America Vice President and regional functions, reporting on performance and market insights.
• Travel up to 50 % of the time to serve Caribbean markets.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in commercial management within life‑science, diagnostics or biotechnology sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to shape and implement country‑level strategy and drive profitable growth.
• Strong governance and compliance mindset, with experience acting as a legal representative.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
