Corporate Tax Director

About the role

As Corporate Tax Director you will join the Global Corporate Tax team of Muehlhan Group and take overall responsibility for corporate tax matters worldwide. Based in Porto, the role serves as a knowledge centre and support hub for tax, inter‑company and transfer‑pricing issues across the rapidly expanding organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, set‑up and maintenance of the Group’s corporate and inter‑company structure.
• Investigate and help design cross‑border working models from tax, transfer‑pricing, risk and operational perspectives.
• Provide tax guidance, prepare model descriptions and contribute to the evolution of tax policies and practices.
• Manage communication with external tax advisors and specialists on corporate tax matters.
• Support tax due‑diligence, structuring and review activities related to mergers and acquisitions.
• Monitor international tax regulation developments and assess their impact on the Group.
• Increase internal tax awareness and deliver practical solutions for inter‑company transactions.
• Oversee transfer‑pricing compliance and documentation across Group entities.
• Assess and manage permanent establishment risks in new and existing markets.
• Act as a trusted advisor, balancing optimal business solutions with tax risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in corporate tax, transfer pricing and international tax regulations.
• Proven ability to work with finance, legal, operations and sales stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50 days per year.
