Community Manager

About the role

Canaan Hub is looking for a high‑energy Community Manager to become the face and voice of its boutique hospitality hub in Montijo. You will bridge brand strategy with daily on‑site actions, creating engaging social content and fostering a vibrant community of digital nomads, backpackers, and creative travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, script, shoot and edit short‑form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok) that showcases guest experiences, local events and hub spaces.
• Own the monthly content calendar, turning strategic goals into daily posts and stories.
• Plan, promote and host on‑site activations such as social hours, meet‑ups, game nights and local experiences.
• Identify, pitch and host travel influencers and content creators, ensuring high‑quality brand‑aligned output.
• Manage daily interactions on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Google Review, responding with an authentic, friendly tone.
• Report channel growth, engagement metrics and guest feedback to management, proposing creative improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in community management, content creation or social‑media marketing.
• Experience in hospitality is a strong plus.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and using hotel spaces as creative backdrops.
• Self‑starter who thrives with autonomy while maintaining regular reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mobile video editing tools such as CapCut and InShot.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Google Review platforms.
