Communications Specialist

About the role

Catawiki is looking for a Communications Specialist to shape and amplify its brand story across global media. You will translate trends, cultural moments and business insights into compelling PR narratives that capture the imagination of journalists and audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute PR campaigns that turn data‑driven insights into media‑ready stories.
• Write clear, engaging press releases, pitches, op‑eds and trend‑led articles.
• Guide PR agencies and conduct direct outreach to secure high‑quality coverage in key markets.
• Manage inbound media requests, draft timely responses and handle sensitive reputational issues.
• Leverage internal data to identify news hooks and strengthen story credibility.
• Integrate generative AI tools to streamline ideation, drafting and research while maintaining editorial standards.
• Own end‑to‑end PR project delivery, balancing speed and quality across multiple stakeholders.
• Support multi‑market initiatives and collaborate with Category and Brand teams for integrated storytelling.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public relations or media communications.
• Exceptional writing and editorial judgment.
• Ability to translate data and trends into newsworthy narratives.
• Comfort with using AI‑assisted content creation tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaborative mindset.
