About the role

Join Bosch Group in Ovar as a Software Developer focused on C# and .NET technologies. You will create and maintain internal applications that support employees and streamline business processes across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal applications used by employees.
• Build scalable and reliable software solutions using C# and the .NET framework.
• Manage and optimise databases with MS SQL Server to ensure high performance and stability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Analyse, maintain, and continuously improve existing legacy systems.
• Explore and integrate AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance workflow and add smart features.
• Provide 2nd‑level technical support and resolve complex issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience developing software with C# and .NET.
• Proven experience with MS SQL Server and database design.
• Ability to understand user requirements and translate them into technical plans.
• Strong expertise in backend development and comfort working with legacy code.
• Interest or initial experience applying AI tools in software development.
• Very good English skills; German at least B1 level.
