Clinical Sales Specialist – Diabetes & Home Care

About the role

VitalAire, part of the Air Liquide Group, is a home respiratory care company in Portugal with more than 35 years of experience in oxygen therapy, ventilation, aerosol therapy and secretion suctioning. It works with doctors and healthcare professionals to treat thousands of patients at home. The Clinical Sales Specialist will position VitalAire as a national leader in diabetes business and new Air Liquide offers, mainly in the Lisbon and Southern Coast area, building new business with health professionals and key opinion leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Position VitalAire as a national leader in diabetes business and new Air Liquide offers, mostly in the Lisbon and Southern Coast area.
• Develop and actively promote new business with health professionals and key opinion leaders, managing opportunities and implementing an action plan aligned with group strategy.
• Carry out installations and training for health professionals and diabetic patients, covering the start, adherence check and end of treatment.
• Follow up on adapting medical devices to diabetic and other therapy patients through various interventions.
• Report commercial results against sales targets and pre-defined visits.
• Develop the assigned geographic market, promoting products and services to key opinion leaders and hospital actors (public and private) and health centres.
• Actively follow the client portfolio.

Required profile

• Degree in Nursing.
• Experience in the diabetes sector preferred but not mandatory.
• English knowledge.
• Availability for travel.
• Interest in the commercial side and strong interpersonal relationship skills.
• Communication skills, committed, proactive and dynamic profile.
