Client Service Analyst – Investment Platforms

About the role

The Marsh Analytics and Portfolio Solutions (MAPS) team supports institutional and wealth-management clients using Marsh's cloud-based investment tools, which give fund ratings, research, data and analytics across public and private markets. The Client Service Analyst provides frontline support and training for the 2,500 internal consultants who use the platform, and works with the full range of Marsh's intellectual capital teams. The role is based in Lisbon and is hybrid, with at least three days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve technical and functional queries for internal consultants and clients, manage expectations and investigate root causes of functionality issues
• Analyse query patterns to inform platform development, training and process improvements
• Support user set-up, onboarding and complex functionality requests, and collaborate with fund researchers on research management tools
• Deliver demonstrations of the strategic value of the investment tools
• Work with internal business lines on client deliverables, retention and new business, and contribute to product development
• Expand support to external clients and support the rollout of new MAPS solutions

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, business, economics or similar (desirable but not mandatory)
• Prior knowledge of the institutional and/or wealth management investment industry is preferred
• Knowledge of financial platforms such as eVestment Analytics is beneficial
• CFA Investment Management certificate or willingness to work towards it
• Experience in a fast-paced environment, independent problem solving and proven client service aptitude
