Client Accounting Specialist – Tax Law Solutions

About the role

The Client Accounting Specialist acts as the primary financial liaison for Tax Law Solutions' prospective and existing U.S.-based clients. You will prepare client‑facing financial reports, manage end‑to‑end procurement accounting, and advise clients on budgets and financial health to maximize mutual value.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the principal financial point of contact, handling billing inquiries and financial documentation.
• Oversee the full procurement cycle, including three‑way match, vendor payments, and documentation collection.
• Maintain organized financial records, support month‑end closing, and prepare financial reporting packages.
• Lead quarterly financial review meetings with clients and internal procurement teams.
• Explain project spend, burn rates, and budget forecasts to diverse client audiences.
• Onboard and train new clients on TLS accounting timelines, processes, and procedures.
• Process accounts payable transactions, prioritize invoices, and monitor compliance.
• Prepare monthly scorecards, three‑way match analysis reports, and other client statistics.

Required profile

• Experience acting as a financial liaison for U.S. (and Puerto Rico) clients.
• Strong understanding of procurement accounting and month‑end close processes.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive in identifying compliance issues and operational changes.
• Professional demeanor when handling billing, fee collection, and client interactions.
