CIM Supply Chain Professional – SIOP Planning

About the role

As a member of the Supply Chain Risk & Resilience team, you will develop and implement CIM supply chain planning solutions within the SIOP process. The role focuses on ensuring high availability of CIM‑related materials, reducing low‑performance factors, and supporting overall supply chain performance for Vestas.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate demand and supply plans for assigned platforms.
• Own and govern CIM planning within SIOP, driving continuous improvement.
• Lead platform‑wide meetings with CIM project managers, technical teams, and business units.
• Provide fact‑based analysis of supply chain risks and cost impacts for CIM cases.
• Align demand‑supply plans with stakeholders across procurement, engineering, logistics, and buying.
• Coordinate task‑force meetings for critical CIM cases and communicate mitigation actions to leadership.
• Maintain high material availability while optimizing inventory levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or MSc in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Approximately 5+ years of supply chain experience in a global organization, preferably within SIOP/S&OP.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work through ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Commercial awareness and a results‑driven attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP and SAP IBP (or similar planning systems).
