Business & Office Manager – Real Estate

About the role

Engel & Völkers is seeking a Business & Office Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of its Óbidos office. The role combines operational oversight, team leadership and support for real‑estate advisors, ensuring the office runs efficiently and aligns with the brand’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support advisors and staff with process adherence, CRM discipline and documentation.
• Manage administrative workflows including invoices, payroll, attendance and office procedures.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training coordination and internal communication.
• Ensure compliance with anti‑money‑laundering documentation and IMPIC reporting.
• Maintain Engel & Völkers brand standards and office presentation.
• Collaborate with marketing to design and execute campaigns.
• Represent the license area at internal and external events in Portugal.
• Align operational priorities with shareholders and act as sales advisor or business developer when needed.
• Oversee shareholder property activities and track sales performance to guarantee client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in operations or team management.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional languages a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous experience in the real‑estate sector is advantageous.
