Business Development Manager Cybersecurity

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager specialized in Cybersecurity to join Arrow’s Enterprise Computing Solutions team in Lisbon. In this role you will act as the primary liaison for a designated cybersecurity vendor, driving growth through partner development, lead generation and sales execution across the Portuguese market.

Key responsibilities

• Assess existing and potential customers to define product needs and execute sales opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with mid‑market resellers and new partners, ensuring long‑term collaboration with Arrow’s Cybersecurity team.
• Define, monitor and report on performance metrics for vendor products and services.
• Coordinate opportunity development for both new and existing customers, including prospect hunting throughout Portugal.
• Collaborate with regional manufacturer staff across vertical markets to align business objectives.
• Participate in Arrow’s sales compensation plan and contribute to marketing initiatives such as events and workshops.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or business development within the IT channel or services sector.
• Relevant university degree.
• Proven track record of driving business growth in enterprise IT environments.
• Strong understanding of global technology trends, with a particular interest in cybersecurity.
• Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Ability to build and sustain relationships with stakeholders and customers.
