Business Controller

About the role

SBM Offshore is seeking a Business Controller to lead financial planning, analysis and reporting across the organization. You will provide strategic financial insights to senior management and ensure alignment with the company’s objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Prepare and analyse management reports, variance analyses and performance dashboards.
• Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with operational plans.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations and risk management policies.
• Drive cost‑control initiatives and monitor cash‑management activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• 5‑7 years of progressive financial management experience, including 2‑3 years in a supervisory role.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
