Biomedical Technician – Dialysis Equipment Maintenance

About the role

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis and water‑treatment equipment across its kidney‑care clinics. You will ensure equipment reliability, train staff on proper operation, and manage the inventory of medical supplies needed for safe patient treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dialysis machines, ancillary devices, and water‑treatment systems.
• Perform water and dialysate sample collection, analysis, and trend reporting.
• Document all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory and OSHA standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors to fulfill service contracts.
• Manage inventory of service parts and medical supplies.
• Assist in planning and installing new biomedical equipment.
• Participate in technical and regulatory meetings.

Required profile

• Relevant technical education or certification in biomedical equipment maintenance.
• Experience working in a clinical or dialysis environment.
• Ability to follow safety and regulatory procedures.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory and documentation.
