Bilingual Spanish Sales Assistant – International Food Company

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Sales Assistant to support our commercial and logistics operations for the Cuba region. The role combines administrative, operational, and customer‑service duties, acting as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support commercial initiatives and inter‑company sales by preparing, analysing, and distributing reports to sellers and buyers.
• Send weekly performance and improvement reports to sellers and maintain daily market reports (USDA and UB) for commercial teams.
• Manage daily pricing adjustments for formula business and act as the primary contact for entering inter‑company orders.
• Maintain customer communication regarding export cargo, including status updates, weekly shipping schedules, shipment advice, and container tracking.
• Coordinate with sellers and buyers to resolve out‑of‑contract orders and ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Outstanding customer‑service and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
• Proactive problem‑solver with solid analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and as a flexible team player.
• University degree in business, administration, ocean transportation or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in logistics, operations, or international commerce.
• Understanding of international trade, transportation modes, ocean shipping documentation, and Incoterms.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work with various business software.
