Bellboy / Luggage Porter – Full‑time at Historic Hotel in Porto

About the role

The Bellboy/Bagageiro joins The Largo, an 18‑room historic hotel in Porto, to welcome guests, manage luggage and support front‑desk operations. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures a smooth and memorable arrival experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly on arrival and escort them to their rooms.
• Handle luggage storage, retrieval and safe transport of guests' bags.
• Assist reception with check‑ins, check‑outs and answer guest inquiries.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions and arrange taxis or directions.
• Maintain the lobby and entrance areas in a clean, presentable condition.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and restaurant teams to ensure seamless service.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Comfort with basic reception duties and guest interaction.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift luggage.
• Basic proficiency in English; additional languages (especially Portuguese) are a plus.
• Reliability, punctuality and a collaborative attitude.
