About the role
The Bell Captain leads the bell team in delivering exceptional guest service at a hotel. This role ensures smooth handling of luggage, timely delivery of items, and assistance with the check‑in and check‑out process while maintaining a courteous and efficient environment.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Bell Staff.
- Assist guests with luggage, transportation to and from rooms, and delivery of requested items.
- Support the front‑desk team during check‑in and check‑out procedures.
- Maintain high standards of guest interaction, ensuring attentiveness and professionalism.
- Manage scheduling, training, and performance of bell personnel.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; hotel or related experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment.
- Ability to work flexible and long hours, including occasional heavy lifting.
- Physical capability to lift up to 100 lb occasionally, 50 lb frequently, and 20 lb continuously.
- Capacity to stand for the entire shift.
