Basque-Speaking Customer Support Expert

About the role

A recruitment agency is hiring Spanish and Basque-speaking Customer Support Experts for a remote position based in mainland Portugal, supporting a leading digital entertainment and streaming platform. You will be the main contact for subscribers, helping with account management, subscription billing, service questions and technical troubleshooting across devices.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, empathetic and professional support in Spanish and Basque via multi-channel channels.
• Help subscribers with account administration, membership tiers, billing and payment method questions.
• Troubleshoot streaming quality, device connectivity, mobile and TV apps and platform features.
• Explain available content, features and platform settings accurately.
• Handle requests efficiently while meeting quality targets, and log cases and resolutions in customer management software.
• Work with colleagues and escalation paths to solve complex technical or account issues.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in Castilian Spanish and Basque (written and spoken).
• Working English at B1 level or higher for systems navigation and training.
• Customer-centric, with active listening, empathy and strong communication skills.
• Tech-savvy, able to troubleshoot digital apps, smart devices and streaming platforms.
• Flexible to a 24/7 rotating roster including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Living in mainland Portugal or willing to relocate.

What we offer

• Full-time remote work in mainland Portugal, with occasional on-site visits to a Lisbon hub; 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts with scheduled rest days.
