Barber – Luxury Resort & Club

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Barber to join the salon and wellness team at Costaterra Golf & Ocean Club in Comporta, Portugal. The successful candidate will deliver premium grooming services to members and guests while supporting the daily operations of the salon and locker rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality barbering, grooming and hair‑care services to members and guests.
• Set up and maintain salon and wellness areas, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene and adequate stock levels.
• Welcome members, handle reservations and reception duties to ensure a smooth, professional experience.
• Maintain equipment safely, monitor product usage and support daily operational needs.
• Recommend and upsell wellness services, treatments and products when appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with the wellness team to ensure timely service delivery.
• Participate in required training and adhere to all service standards.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as a barber in a luxury salon, spa or high‑end grooming environment.
• Professional barbering training or certification; additional trichology or beauty knowledge is a plus.
• Strong customer‑service orientation, professionalism and attention to detail.
• Reliable, high grooming standards and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills in English and basic computer proficiency.
