About the role

Iterable is seeking a Backend Software Engineer II to contribute to its AI‑powered customer engagement platform. You will work on smaller, well‑defined projects with autonomy while receiving guidance on more complex or undefined challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver complete, production‑ready features and enhancements for backend services.
• Collaborate proactively with teammates to design optimal solutions.
• Form technical opinions, seek diverse input, and recommend process improvements.
• Anticipate and mitigate minor roadblocks, managing expectations and effort estimates.
• Support the team’s broader goals by aligning individual tasks with project objectives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven ability to build scalable, production‑grade web applications.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to seek guidance when needed.
• Desire to work in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
