Back-End Developer (Mid/Senior) – Cloud & Python

About the role

Abtrace is a health‑tech company building clinical algorithms to support primary‑care clinicians. We are looking for a mid‑ to senior‑level Back‑End Developer to design and deliver scalable cloud‑based services that continuously analyse patient health records.

Key responsibilities

• Write well‑tested, maintainable backend code in Python (NodeJS a plus).
• Develop, test and deploy applications on AWS using serverless and container technologies.
• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines and work with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Manage infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Collaborate daily with a multidisciplinary team of developers, data scientists and clinicians.

Required profile

• Mid‑ or senior‑level experience building cloud‑native backend systems.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment and communicating with non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience with Python; familiarity with NodeJS is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services and serverless architectures.
