Automation QA Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Join Tether, a leader in digital finance, to build and maintain test automation for critical desktop and mobile applications. You will work remotely with a global team, ensuring high‑quality releases for cutting‑edge blockchain‑based products.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands‑on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.

Required profile

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands‑on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output.
