Automation and Robotics Technician

About the role

The Automation and Robotics Technician is responsible for maintaining electronic equipment throughout the factory perimeter. You will support intervention teams in fault analysis and independently resolve issues within your area of responsibility, contributing to the smooth operation of our production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic systems, vision equipment, PLCs, CNCs and industrial robots.
• Assist and lead fault‑analysis activities, diagnosing and fixing electronic failures.
• Work any shift as required, ensuring continuous availability of critical equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to minimise downtime and maintain production quality.

Required profile

• Degree or professional higher technical course in Automation Engineering, Robotics or a related field.
• Knowledge of vision systems, preferably Sherlock and Cognex.
• Experience with Siemens PLCs and Siemens numerical controls from an electronic maintenance perspective.
• Familiarity with industrial robots such as ABB, Kuka, Fanuc or UR.
• Willingness to work any shift and ability to perform under pressure.
• Strong teamwork orientation.
