Audit Manager – Big Four Professional Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead auditing engagements for a prestigious Big Four professional services firm. The role involves overseeing audit assignments, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and delivering high‑quality audit reports to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise audit assignments from start to finish.
• Review and analyse financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff throughout the audit process.
• Ensure timely delivery of audit reports and maintain adherence to quality standards.
• Stay up‑to‑date with auditing standards and relevant financial regulations.
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks identified during audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve audit processes and efficiency.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of professional experience in audit, preferably as a manager within a Big Four firm.
• Proven experience in team management and project coordination.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Relevant degree or professional certification in accounting or finance.
