Assurance New Joiner – Audit Graduate Role

About the role

Join PwC's Assurance line of service, the largest business unit in PwC Portugal, and work on audit engagements for clients in Financial Services and Industry & Services. You will be part of a technology‑driven team that uses automated, risk‑oriented analyses to deliver high‑quality audit opinions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit procedures for financial statements of clients in the Financial Services and Industry & Services sectors.
• Collaborate directly with clients, gaining exposure to diverse industries and emerging technologies.
• Apply data‑processing tools and automated techniques to improve audit efficiency and risk assessment.
• Support senior staff in preparing audit documentation and reporting findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Audit, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong analytical curiosity and interest in enhancing audit processes.
• Excellent command of English and good communication skills.
• Responsibility, resilience, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of data‑processing technologies, artificial intelligence concepts, or programming (valued).
