Accountant – Finance Department

About the role
SRAM Portugal is expanding its Finance Department and seeks a dedicated Accountant to support the full accounting cycle and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Key responsibilities
- Record supplier invoices and other accounting transactions accurately.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor outstanding balances in the General Ledger and third‑party accounts.
- Reconcile intragroup checking accounts to maintain intercompany consistency.
- Prepare supplier payment proposals in line with company policies.
- Compile the information required for monthly tax obligations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Certified Accountant registered with the OCC, or currently pursuing certification.
- At least three years of professional accounting experience.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- Microsoft Excel (advanced).
- Microsoft Office suite.
