Associate SEO & AEO Manager

About the role

Iterable is seeking an Associate SEO & AEO Manager to lead the company’s visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI‑driven discovery platforms. You will own the strategy and execution for technical SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to ensure the brand is accurately represented when buyers research solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a technical SEO roadmap across all web properties, addressing crawlability, indexation, site architecture, page speed, structured data, canonicalization, redirects, XML sitemaps and Core Web Vitals.
• Lead Answer Engine Optimization initiatives to improve visibility in AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and other generative search tools.
• Implement Generative Engine Optimization tactics that enhance how AI‑generated summaries present Iterable’s products and market position.
• Conduct regular, deep audits, prioritize fixes, and build scalable systems for ongoing measurement and improvement.
• Collaborate with product, content and engineering teams to align SEO, AEO and GEO efforts with business goals.

• Proven ability to perform comprehensive technical SEO audits and translate findings into actionable roadmaps.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on prioritizing high‑impact opportunities.
• Experience working quickly in a fast‑moving environment and building repeatable processes.
• Excellent communication skills to partner across cross‑functional teams.
