Associate Consultant - Onsite Deployment Unit

About the role

IQVIA is looking for an Associate Consultant for its Onsite Deployment Unit (ODU) in Porto Salvo. As an associate consultant you will actively participate in projects covering real-world effectiveness, market research, forecasting, product launch, business intelligence, sales operations, sales force effectiveness, multi-channel marketing, marketing operations, incentive compensation, oncology, payer/provider services, thought leadership, primary market research and technology and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse secondary data and desk market research to identify key findings and trends
• Perform quantitative or qualitative analysis to support client deliverables and business decisions based on IQVIA data
• Assist in data preparation, project components and quality assurance of final deliverables
• Help create client presentations and attend, support and present at client meetings with senior support
• Manage projects and work streams of reasonable size
• Help develop detailed documentation and specifications, including business process documentation, SOPs and client data scorecards
• Build knowledge of consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical market through engagements and learning opportunities

Required profile

• Undergraduate or Master's degree with moderate relevant healthcare experience and an interest in healthcare analytics and data
• Fluency in English, written and spoken; German or French is a must
• Experience of statistics and consulting, with analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills on large data sets
• Willingness to travel at short notice
• CV must be submitted in English; the role is not open to visa sponsorship

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal communication, including presentations, meetings, business and report writing
• MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint; SAS, Oracle SQL, R and Excel VBA are beneficial
• Project management, time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial business and healthcare industry processes
