Associate Consultant / Consultant - Commercial Services Analytics (US Dedicated)

About the role

IQVIA Commercial Managed Services (CMS) is an analytics outsourcing division that helps pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers use healthcare data for forecasting, project management and reporting. As an Associate Consultant or Consultant, you will take part in developing, delivering and managing data analytics and consulting projects, such as real-world effectiveness, market research, forecasting, product launch, business intelligence, sales operations, oncology and payer/provider services. The position is based in Lisbon, Portugal, as a nearshore dedicated team working US hours (1 pm to 10 pm).

Key responsibilities

• Analyze secondary data and desk market research to identify key findings and trends.
• Create and lead quantitative or qualitative analyses supporting client deliverables and business decisions.
• Prepare client presentations independently and lead project execution, including progress tracking, data organization and team meetings.
• Work with leadership to define project scope and develop detailed documentation, including business process documentation, SOPs and client data scorecards.
• Contribute internally to the CMS team, for example by recruiting new hires, mentoring colleagues and building subject-matter expertise.
• As a Consultant, lead projects and initiatives over analysts and associate consultants.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or Master's degree with at least 1-2 years of relevant healthcare experience.
• Prior experience in market research, marketing analytics, forecasting, statistics, predictive modeling, HEOR, data mining, business intelligence or similar fields.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical commercial business and of current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
• Good written and spoken English, including presentation and report writing.
• Ability to travel to the US for short periods of less than 15 days.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
• SAS, Oracle SQL, R, Tableau or Excel VBA.
• Project management, time management and prioritization.
