Assistant Professor in Quantitative Marketing

About the role

Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics invites applications for a full‑time tenure‑track Assistant Professor position in Quantitative Marketing, starting September 2027. The role supports the Marketing group’s expansion into data‑driven and technology‑enabled marketing research and teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in quantitative marketing, marketing analytics, and related topics.
• Build an internationally visible research program focused on rigorous empirical, econometric, computational, or machine‑learning approaches.
• Collaborate across disciplines, especially with Operations & Data Science, to foster interdisciplinary projects.
• Contribute to the Marketing group’s strategic initiatives and participate in faculty governance.

Required profile

• PhD in Marketing, Economics, Business, or a closely related field (completed or expected before start date).
• Demonstrated potential for publishing in top‑tier marketing and related journals.
• Strong interest in quantitative, data‑intensive marketing research areas such as analytics, AI, MarTech, pricing, and digital platforms.
