Application Support Engineer – Hybrid (Lisbon)

About the role
We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join a long‑term project in Lisbon. The role is hybrid, requiring two days on‑site per week, and focuses on production support of CRM/CLM platforms in an international, multicultural environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 support for CRM/CLM applications and related systems.
- Analyse incidents, troubleshoot issues and coordinate with Level 3 teams or vendors.
- Monitor data flows, integrations and overall system performance.
- Perform root‑cause analysis and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Execute and validate deployments and configuration changes.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure and cross‑functional teams.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in application or production support.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
- Knowledge of CRM/CLM concepts or a strong willingness to learn.
Required skills
- MS SQL Server
- REST and SOAP APIs
- Messaging systems such as Kafka and MQ
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
- Operating systems: Windows, Unix, Linux
- Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, SolarWinds)
- Jira and Confluence
- Optional: Dynamics 365.NET, C#, PowerShell, Shell, Python, DevOps exposure
