Application Support Analyst – Cruise Technology

About the role

You will be the technical expert responsible for the seamless operation of cruise technology systems, specifically the MXP property management system used across the Marella Cruises fleet. The role supports both onboard and shoreside teams to ensure high guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and administer the MXP property management system across the entire fleet, guaranteeing stability, accuracy and reliability.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and subject‑matter expert for cruise applications, providing guidance and technical support to onboard and shore‑based teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues, minimizing disruption to operations while maintaining data integrity.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and Delivery Managers to gather requirements, test, and implement new features and system enhancements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, manuals and operating procedures in partnership with onboard IT officers.
• Monitor system performance, conduct routine audits, and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate incidents, system updates and integrations with internal IT teams and external suppliers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in systems support and maintenance, preferably within the cruise or hotel industry.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and customer‑centric mindset.
• Deep understanding of property management system processes and contexts.
• Expertise in incident management, problem resolution and root‑cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
