AP Accountant (French Speaker)

About the role

Verisure is looking for a hands‑on AP Accountant who is fluent in French to join its Finance team in Lisbon. Reporting to the Shared Services Center Manager, you will support the company’s rapid growth by managing the full accounts‑payable cycle and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the end‑to‑end P2P process: receive, validate and process invoices.
• Communicate with internal and external partners to resolve invoice queries.
• Review and ensure correct cost‑center and account coding on purchase orders.
• Execute weekly and month‑end closing activities, including aging reports.
• Process payments and support the manager with daily operational tasks.
• Perform ad‑hoc accounts‑payable and procurement duties as required.
• Reconcile AP accounts on a monthly basis.
• Collaborate with local finance specialists on accounting, tax and reporting compliance.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with a proactive business mindset.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business; qualified accountant preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial concepts.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably in AP.
• Fluency in French and English.
