AML Consultant – French Speaker (Porto)

About the role

We are seeking an AML Consultant who is fluent in French to join our Porto office. The role supports the team in detecting and analysing money‑laundering risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and improving internal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse alerts related to potential money‑laundering activities.
• Maintain accurate records of payment alerts and propose procedural improvements.
• Investigate suspicious transactions and escalate cases for further investigation when necessary.
• Collaborate with compliance and banking teams to ensure timely and effective responses.

Required profile

• Academic background in Law, International Relations, Political Science, Economics or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in banking services, compliance, KYC, AML or a similar area.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team.
• Fluent in English and French (mandatory).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
